Clinical Psychology

Clinical psychologists, who constitute the largest specialty in Psychology, generally work in independent or group practice or in hospitals or clinics. Clinical psychologists interview patients; give diagnostic tests; provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy, depending on their specific training. The Clinical psychologist focuses on understanding, preventing, and relieving psychologically based distress or dysfunction and to promote subjective well-being and personal development.

In Spain, a specialization / certificate is required to practice Clinical Psychology.
